Minority Caucus of Parliament Request For Details Into Coronavirus Alleviation Program.
The President sometime ago allocated a reasonable amount of cash for the provision of food, water and other basic necessities to cushion the populace in Kumasi and Accra.
These two cities were placed on lockdown due to the Novel Coronavirus pandemic and so the government lend a helping hand.
Now that the lockdown is no more, the Minority Caucus of Parliament has officially petitioned the Auditor General to conduct a special audit into the expenditure of the amount of GH¢280.3 million, allocated for the provision of food and water under the Coronavirus Alleviation Program (CAP).
This according to them is to know the exact expenditure and balance if any.
