Miracle Film Pioneer Admits Directors Sabotaged Agya Koo To Kill His Career (+Details)

Kumawwod became the hottest cake in the country a decade or so ago. The magical touch of some talented actors and actresses such as Nana Ama McBrown, Kofi Adu aka Agya Koo, Kojo Nkansah Lilwin, Kyeiwaa, Wofa Akrobeto, Frank Nero, Ras Nene, Maame Serwaa, Akyere Nruwaa, Mercy Aseidu and others filled our screens with laughter and joy! One of the pillars within the filming side was the founder of Miracle Films.

Over the years, Miracle Films has been behind most of the top Kumawood actors we all loved, cherished and admired.

Mr. Nyamekekye claims he started Kumawood when everybody was shooting movie in Accra and Takoradi.

According to him, initially, he used Mercy Asiedu for her first film and the amount he gave her wasn’t anything to write home about.
