There will be a showdown between five contestants – Emperor, Snow B, Torgbe, Naba and Mac-M – to determine which of them walks away with the GH¢100,000 recording deal on offer.
Emperor is a Level 100 student at the University of Ghana, Legon. He was not part of the 12 that kicked off the contest, having come in as a wild card two weeks into the show.
His rap style impressed the judges and voters and he believes he would be the only one to clinch the ultimate.
Snow B started writing lyrics when he was in Junior High School and now cannot wait to exhibit how far he has come with that skill.
Torgbe is one of the young men determined to bring a fresh face to popular music in Ewe and he has the perfect platform on Friday to show what he has.
Naba says music is the best thing that has ever happened to her and is sure her powerful voice will help her walk away with the ultimate prize.
Mac-M pointed out at the beginning of the contest that he was going to use the MTN Hit-Maker platform to prove he was one of the best rappers in this part of the world. He now has the chance to show that.
Guest performers slated for the show are Kaakie, Samini, VVIP, Kofi Kinaata, Miriam, Koo Ntakara, Cano Z and actor-comedian, Lil Win.
The MTN Hit-Maker 2014 final show will be hosted by Bola Ray of Starr FM and television presenter, Peace Hyde.
