Music Lovers – “Azonto” blew Sarkodie, “Baafira” blew Stonebwoy, what blew Shatta Wale?

The lockdown has became a burden as the body is  getting tired of sleeping or feeling the stress of prison-like lifestyle. I started to wonder what blew our influential musicians to the limelight.

Azonto can be traced as far back as one of R2Beesupcoming songs “Azonto” but was rejuvenated by the producer NshonnaMusick with the song “You Go Kill Me” which had Sarkodie (rapper) and EL (rapper)on it.

Prio to the above Sarkodie was ranting on the radio waves as fastest Ghanaian twi rapper with his rapperholic slogan when suddenly the dance move hit all media houses called Azonto dance. Wiggling of one leg and moving the waist with one hand pointing to the sky.

Then after Stonebwoy rocked the air waves with “Baafira”. The single track penetrated the walls of every home as Stonebwoy fought to prove the song was not stollen. During the reigning period Sarkodie teamed up with Stonebwoy to do a remix version to strengthen the point of gaining solid ownership.

Suddenly a new wave rocked the music industry with a loud voice – pretty much like noise – of Shatta Wale fighting with almost every artist or radio presenters and using social media presence to reach large audience. It felt wired yet interesting to know what blew this gentleman to fame.
