MzVee’s Natural Girl video out

Dancehall artiste, MzVee, has released the video of her recent single, Natural Girl, which featured Stonebwoy.

The video was published on Lynx youtube channel on June 6, and it is four and half minutes long. Celebrities such as Efya, Lydia Forson, Okyeame Kwame, Amanda Jissih, Ama K. Abebrese, Berla Mundi, Caroline Sampson and Sika Osei made appearances.

The music video for Natural Girl has a futuristic feel to it and has scenes depicting some things that have become social vices like skin bleaching, addiction to slimming pills, breast implants among others.

The video starts with MzVee granting an interview to Amanda Jissih of GhOne Entertainment TV. She explains the concept of the song which asks people to be confident and love themselves for who they are.

It then goes on to show scenes of a lady whose boyfriend bought her skin lightening cream as a present but on watching the video, she changes her mind and asks the guy to leave.

Commenting on the video, MzVee said “I am very happy that finally the video for my single is out. In fact, I wanted some of fans to be a part of it so we had to wait for people to send in videos of themselves singing the chorus of the song so that it would be added to the video. This took time, but we thank God for how far He has brought us”.

Throwing more light on the concept, MzVee said “we decided to touch on these issues because they are some of the things going on now in the life of most young people. We decided to educate them on the need to believe in themselves and in addition to that, entertain them,” she added.
