History was made as for the first time as the winner for Miss Akwaaba emerged as the winner of Face of GIJ pagaent. The queen is no one but the bold black beauty, Naa Dedei Armah. Justina Odoi, a strong contender came second and the “D-bee” Akua Daniels came third.
Undoubtedly, the loud, friendly and “crazy” Victoria Doe came up as Miss Congeniality and the best talent.
The audience at the executive hall of the Trade Fair Center in La, a suburb of Accra on April 17, was a sight to behold. Amidst loud cheers and fans, the audience made the show a memorable one. The grand finale was the battle of the crème de la crème and Naa Dedei proved herself to be the best. She said, “It was a tough competition and I am glad I came out a winner and the first Miss Akwaaba to be a Face of GIJ”.
