NACOC, police intercept 9,752 slabs of wee in Volta Region

Information circulating on various online portals indicates that the authorities have impounded some substances believed to be cannabis (Indian hemp/ ganja/ ntampi/ bonsam tawa/ wee/ rasta roll) at the Volta Region.

In detail, the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), in collaboration with the Volta Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service, has seized 9,752 slabs of cannabis, estimated to cost GH¢4.87 million.

One cannot readily tell whether those found with this substance are growers, dealers, distributors or users of the product herein mentioned.
