NDC MP, Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Sayibu pays surgery fee for 9-year-old diagnosed…

Member of Parliament for Tamale North, Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Sayibu has settled the bills of a 9-year-old boy diagnosed with an elevation of depressed skull.

When the little boy was asked to undergo an immediate surgical operation to fix the health issue, the family became stranded because they didn’t have the financial muscles to shoulder the fee of Ghc 7,700.00.

The patient, a resident from Kanvili Tunaayili in Sagnarigu District in the Northern Region was to undergo the surgery at the Tamale Teaching Hospital within the shortest possible time.

Through the Head of Medical Social Work Unit – Mr Alhaji Braimah Saaka, parents of the patient contacted the Tamale North legislator who willingly offered Ghc 5,000.00.

The assemblyman for Kanvili Electoral Area, Samuel Abdul Rahman and Constituency Communication Officer, Abdullai Abu Safian presented the cheque on behalf of the MP.

The family of 9-year-old, Fuseini Abubakari, expressed their utmost gratitude at the benevolence of Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Sayibu and thanked the Member of Parliament for his timely intervention.
