NDC to go on a weeding spree…?
The National Democratic Congress, a social democratic political party in Ghana and the main opposition party, founded by Jerry John Rawlings – who was Head of State of Ghana from 1981 to 1993 and the President of Ghana from 1993 to 2001, has hinted on their new strategy to honour their flag-bearer, Mr John Dramani Mahama (JDM).
It could be recalled that over the last weekend, the Ex-President was seen in a viral video clearing bushy areas. After this said video was posted online, Ghanaians were divided on whether to support or disapprove the kind of “patriotism” exhibited by JDM.
During a popular radio programme, one female presenter didn’t mince words when commenting on how disappointed she was in JDM’s act. Members of the NDC were quick to condemn the presenter, and after thorough reflection, Multimedia Group has rendered an unqualified apology to JDM.

The new development that is gaining grounds is a communique being circulated by the National Organizer of the NDC, Joshua Hamidu Akamba. The circular stipulates that on Saturday, 16th November, 2019, there will be Regional and District weeding and clean up exercise in honour of JDM.
