NDC VRS EC Hearing today, amid heavy security presence at Supreme Court

The decision of the Electoral Commission to compile a new voter’s register and to also exclude old voter’s ID card as a primary document for identification has been opposed strongly by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The NDC subsequently files a suit at the supreme Court of Ghana challenging the decision of the Electoral Commission. The first hearing was last week.

The supreme Court presided over by Chief Justice Anin Yeboah ordered the Electoral Commission to file a Legal basis for their decision and present same to the supreme Court on Monday.

The second court hearing is today and Ghanashowbiz.com has spotted heavy security presence at the premises of the apex court of the land.
