Netizen Eulogizes John Mahama For His Tough Contest And Admonishes Nana Addo To Learn “Sense”
Ghanaians have chosen Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as president from 2021 to 2024. The contest was fiercely contested to the extent that many hoped for a run-off. What is even more daring is the split decision on the Parliamentary side. From what has been gathered now, the NPP has 137 seats whilst the NDC has 137 seats with only 1 independent seat (who has an NPP background).
What many have said after the election is that the Ghanaian voter is now wiser and sophisticated. Per the voting trend, many surprises were seen across the length and breadth of the country and Ghanaian voters aren’t as “ignorant and tribally inclined” as they were perceived to be some 8 or 12 years ago.
Reacting to the voting trend, blogger Stanley had this to say.
Stanley wrote;
***For Mahama to garner these figures despite the unworthy tags he has suffered tells one thing;
Ghanaians aren’t happy with the NPP government. Apparently, the Free SHS was the catalyst for their win. Yes, the fact is, with corruption, both parties aren’t different, Ghanaians know this.
The 2nd term for Nana Addo should be characterized with exploits; draw vivid distinctions between the two parties in the area of corruption and economic policies, else, 2024 is strictly NDCs. They really struggled to win this election…
Congratulations Nana Addo, more room for improvement.😁
Congratulations John Mahama, come back harder to redeem your reputation💪
And congratulations, fellow Ghanaians, for your comportment and sought for peace that has effected the positive and peaceful post-election country we see today. God bless you.❤🙏*
