Netizen Narrates Why Ghanaians Have Always Lived In Harmony

A social media user with the handle, Abdul Moomin Stoney, has taken to his Facebook page to narrate how a Muslim and a Roman Catholic neighbours shared fond pleasantries and why Ghanaians must stay so in perpetuity.

The netizen wrote;

***So this morning I went into town to buy koko.
This old woman who obviously is a catholic and probably coming from an early morning church service yelled out to this oldman, calling him frantically; Alaji ! Alaaji !! Alaaaaji !!, as loud as her feeble voice could allow her.

When the oldman (obviously a muslim) saw her, the excitement was reciprocated and they exchanged pleasantries. They started a long beautiful and exciting conversation( I know it’s rude to eavesdrop but I did).
I couldn’t help but think; this is Ghana. These are the real Ghanaians who genuinely do not care about which religion is dominant or which religion is the majority in Ghana. Obviously too, they careless about power and the ability to control the powers that be.
Instead, all they care about is the desire to live and freely interact peacefully with their neighbors, regardless of their faith, in their country of birth. They care about being freely able, as a Christian, to yell out to a Muslim friend and watch that excitement light up the face of that friend like wild bushfire in harmattan.
So if you’re at the top there pursuing your own selfish agenda, just keep it at the back of your mind that majority of the so-called “Majority” do not care about your pursuits. You do not represent majority of the ordinary “Majority”.

You can go ahead with your pursuits but just ensure that you don’t endanger the serenity these innocent ordinary majority enjoy.
If you do, the lord in whose garbs you so hypocritically clothe yourself will descend on you with his judgment!***
