Netizens Fight Over Stonebwoy’s Alleged Endorsement Of Prez. Nana Addo.

Netizens Fight Over Stonebwoy’s Alleged Endorsement Of Prez. Nana Addo.

Political endorsement in the country by renowned Ghanaian celebrities is becoming a usual trend. For Musician/ Actor/ Actress “A” or “B” to proudly announce that he or she supports either the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) or the main opposition party National Democratic Congress (NDC) is now the order of the day.

If you visit other developed countries like the United Sate of America, Canada, United Kingdom and others, it is nothing critical but down here, artistes are attacked for either rooting for NPP or NDC.

Most often than not, the said artiste is threatened with the flimsy excuse that their respective careers will end because they’ve declared their supports for NPP or NDC.

As of now, Diana Asamoah, Omane Acheampong, Samini and Sarkodie have openly supported the NPP in this electioneering year whilst Clement Bonney aka Mr. Beautiful, John Dumelo, Rex Omar, and others have also sided with the NDC.

Now, there is an argument as to whether has done so or not. According to those who were privy to Stonebwoy’s exclusive interview with Abeiku Santana a few days ago, the “Putuu” hit maker supposedly said that he hasn’t endorsed any political party yet but subscribes to the commendable achievements of Nana Addo in his 4-year rule as the president of the Republic of Ghana.

With this pronouncement from Stonebwoy, whilst others feel that he has indirectly endorsed the candidature of the sitting president, others beg to differ!

If you follow most posts on social media you’ll realize fan bases of Stonebwoy are divided and seriously arguing with each other over this same matter. For now, the father of two and husband to Dr. Louisa hasn’t made any correction or rebuttal with regards to this pending issue.

Could there be other clarifications Stonebwoy can give to settle this issue once and for all?

Do you suggest he makes further comments or he should simply ignore the trending issue?

What do you make of this?
