Nigerian fashion designer slammed over comments on married men

Controversial fashionista, Toyin Lawani obviously got more than she bargained for when she took to her Instagram page to advise young girls to stop running after married. She advised such ladies to get a well paid job for themselves or get married.

“This is what I tell peeps all day. When others do meaningful things to ruin u, just kneel to God and commit them to Him. Don’t waste a dime on revenge, it does not worth it. Trust me, God will make sure u have the last laugh; like me ryt be rolling on my fluffy versace bedsheet sipping Moet, watching devious maids but can’t concentrate cause of the gist I’m hearing about girls.

“You all save ur p***y, chasing around married men go look for jobs to do or go marry. Stop forming big girls on dirty atrocities#bad money dont last. ..I”m out. Hehhehhehehe cant just stop…lord I cant stop worshiping you thanks for sending your words to me and my family. Ibajeniyan kole da ISHE OLUWA DURO,” she wrote.

But some of her fans, who read what she wrote, lashed out at her, claiming she does not have the moral right to advice ladies.
“Iya Jesu, Pele oh. You have no right to judge anybody @toyin lawani you are not God. Leave everybody to their hustle. Maybe, just maybe she wished she hadn’t gone that route y’all are accusing her of and she’s sincerely letting girls know that ‘jumping around’ is not worth it.

“The message is true, forget about who is passing it. If, according to many comments she was also guilty of chasing married men, then I believe her message is like. I don’t waka that road before, e no worth am. No follow am. Just my opinion, I may be wrong,” an angry fan blasted her.

In replying to the above fan’s post, another said, “Exactly, as if that was not her job before she started her fashion house. She is just an agbaya abeg seeking attention. The fashion house you opened at Fola osibo, come out and say you got the money through office job, were you not oloshoing all over Lagos abi, the fact that you are a cougar makes you better than other ladies, ” added another fan.

Another described her as “queen of dating married men”!

“In fact some of those dating married men u see today were inspired by her! Shes their role model oh! Shes one of the pace setters in the business of dating married men! So pls if her account wasn’t hacked n she wrote that then the babe is going crazy! This same babe who admitted to dating a married man on TV??? Has two kids outside wedlock by two different men?
