Nigerian Female celebrities take a walk against rape

The ladies including Annie Idibia, Ini Edo, Kehinde Bankole, Lami Phillips and others, according to an Instagram post by Idibia, walked from GRA Ikeja, through Allen and all the way to Alausa in Lagos on Tuesday February 10, 2015 in protest of the growing rate of rape in their country.


They were joined by some of their male colleagues including Emmanuel Ikubese (who recently launched a campaign against domestic violence.

The match was a deliberate statement the ladies hoped to make as they take a firm ‘Stand against Rape’.
