A young Nigerian has allegedly comm!tted suic!de after being accused wrongly of rape by a Twitter influencer who declined to provide any further details.

As of now, #JusticeForIzu is currently trending on Twitter after a user named Legend Izu Madubueze took his own life when a Twitter influencer with the account name, Nanichi Anese, published his name and other men’s names as individuals accused of rape by anonymous females.

It was revealed that Izu reached out to Nani and asked to know who his accuser is but Nani didn’t have any good answer and the best she could come out with was that the alleged victim said it was a “non physical sexual assault”.

Even though Izu kept trying to clear his name, Nani rubbished all his attempts.

Izu later left a heartbreaking note apologizing for his unknown crime, and also, with a last tweet on Friday, July 17, which reads: “Oh and if you’re reading this, I’m dead lol.”

See all the screenshots of the trends below;

Nani has since deactivated her account after Izu’s suicide was made public.

Surprisingly, older chats from Izu’s phone allegedly shows that Nani had asked him out before but he declined.

At the moment, Nigerians are demanding Justice for Izu.

Could this be a probable payback from Nani to Izu gone bad?
