Nigerian media accuses Nadia of snatching someone’s husband

Actress Nadia Buari has been accused by a section of the Nigerian media of snatching the husband of an ex-beauty queen called Steph-Nora Anusionwu.

Nigeriafilms.com reported Friday that Nadia’s alleged relationship with politician and Oil & Gas businessman Joseph Tomowu had seemingly moved to “the next level”.

However, the news portal suggested that information about the love affair between the two had reached Mr Tomowu’s “legally married wife” who resides in London with their three kids. Mr Tomowu, the report said, also lived in London with his family but had to stay more in Nigeria because of his business and political career.

“When in Nigeria, the Big Boy [Tomowu] shuttles between Asaba in Delta State and Lagos. He was said to have met Nadia in Asaba during the shooting of a film and one thing led to another,” reported nigeriafilms.com.

“Ever since then, the duo have been neck-deep in the affair, which later led to the gists getting to Nora in London and had opened a fierce battle between the ex-beauty queen and Nadia.

The issue had already resulted in a messy war, especially from friends of Nora on the social media, Facebook and Twitter most especially,” the report added.

It also said Nadia whom the news portal described as a “controversial actress” doesn’t give a hoot about the whole issue.

She and Tomowu are said to attend events hosted by friends together while the ‘Big Boy’ spares no cost in lavishing attention on her and spoiling Nadia with cash and gifts.

Nadia, according to nigeriafilms.com, permanently lodges in Tomowu’s mansion in Asaba and “often accompanies him to Lagos and Abuja on business.

Tomowu, the portal said has told close friends he plans to marry Nadia.

Meanwhile all attempts to reach Nadia for clarification had proved futile.
