The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) has admonished schools and the Ghanaian populace to be careful about some purported textbooks in the market.
NaCCA still maintains that their outfit is in the process of approving textbooks in accordance with the newly adopted Standards Based Curriculum.

This means that as at the end of today as the eighth week of Basic schools’ reopening this academic term, no facilitator has ever used any approved textbooks apart from the new curriculum and teachers’ resource pack to assist learning and teaching in schools.
