Noble Nketia launches dance competition

imagesHe recently launched his current Hope & Praiz album and as part of the promotional activities to make it popular, gospel artiste, Noble Nketiah, has launched a dance contest to serve the purpose.

The competition which started on October 2 is expected to end on Sunday, November 30. It is aimed at encouraging various dance groups in churches and campuses  to create a choreographed dance for his Hope & Praiz song and upload the video.

The artiste, in a statement said said “Participants are expected to post the youtubelink to Noble’s facebookpage- @IamNoble (https://www.facebook.com/noblenketsiah).

According to the Sɛ Me Tease singer, the best choreography group will win receive $1,000 and get the opportunity to perform with him when he starts his tour in December this year.

“This is a competition to get creative dancers to work for Christendom.  It is also intended to urge Christians to experience complete freedom in worship. I know contestants will show their best worship steps as we equip saints to encounter God’s glory”, the statement noted.

A popular face on the gospel scene, Noble Nketiah released his first album, Yesu Do, in 2001 but rose to prominence in 2005 when he released his Vision album which had some well known songs such as Sɛ Me Tease, Mommetie and Mensi Dɛn.

The album, which was his third, earned him the Gospel Album of the Year and Best Gospel Song of the Year  awards at the Ghana Music Awards in 2006.
