Noella Wiyaala Is Ungrateful – Mr Logic

Mr Logic made this statement in the studios of Pluzz FM during the discussion on the position of Genius selection with Wiyaala. Most of the panelist on the program after listening to both sides of the story. Genius selection a beat maker complained that he has been sacked from a band he created for Noella Wiyaala after he traveled to South Africa and returned to Ghana.
His first compliant was that after working on songs for Wiyaala the songs were taken to master it and was never brought back. They didn’t change much of the things on the song but didn’t acknowledge him on the album.
Genius selection said he put together a band for Wiyaala even though they were not well remunerated. He went to South Africa and when he came back they don’t call him for rehearsals. He was their keyboardist and when he was travelling he brought a replacement to play in his absence and when he returned and called them he was told by Wiyaala manager that they no longer wanted to work with him.
Genius selection also mentioned that during his stay in South Africa he met Wiyaala and her manager John, he played a gig for them. He had a conversation with them in which they assured him of playing in the band in Ghana when he returned to Ghana. The producer said he wasn’t paid for meeting them and working for them in South Africa. He also said Wiyaala had changed in her attitude since she hit the limelight.
Wiyaala was called to respond to the accusations leveled against her. She said that the songs on her album were remade and none of it were his works that’s why he was not acknowledged. Wiyaala explained further that they had to change the songs again because it wasn’t being made well and some other things the producer was not supporting her voice in the songs. She also said that the songs she received an award for is still the same production that is “rock my body” and she acknowledge him for that because it made her famous.
Wiyaala wanted a new band because her band couldn’t match up to her standards so she was introduced to a new band by Genius selection. She said that when Genius was traveling he didn’t tell them when he was coming back. He also wasn’t consistent with the band. He only came when he could and took his money after playing a gig. She also said when he was leaving he gave them a replacement to play the keyboard. So when Gideon returned she cannot sack the current keyboardist for Genius selection. She also replied that when they met Genius selection in South Africa he was paid 200Rand which is equivalent to 100cedis but actually it is 65cedis.
