NPP’S Campaign Manager in ICU – Reports

Media reports say the Campaign Manager of the ruling New Patriotic Party Peter Mac Manu is critically ill and currently under Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

Joy FM and City FM both reported shortly after the demise of the former General Secretary of the same Party Sir John late yesterday. The news report added that the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry Hon. Carlos Ahinkora was also under ICU, but our checks find from his constituency in Tema find it that he was there yesterday monitoring the Voters registration process.

Media have also reported that Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie known as Sir John also contracted COVID -19 before his death. What we can’t confirm now is whether he died with coronavirus or he died from coronavirus.
