NSAWAM PRISONS INMATE SCHOOL CATCH UP ON NSAWAM ADOAGYIRI MUNICIPAL NABCO PERSONNELS.

As part of the one year Nabco national celebration week, the nsawam municipal NABCO personnel found it important to visit the nsawam prisons inmates school to Donate towards their activities.

The groups lead by the cordinator Mr. Emmanuel Babayi Babson donated several learning materials including 2,000 Exercise books and note books, pens, mathematical sets, rules, etc to the authority of the school. After the items were received, DSP Abdul Latif Adam who lead the Prisons team told Ghanaian’s showbiz that the learning material deliverers to them will solve a lot of challenges they are currently going through, because most of inmate never had the chance to school, others been school dropout due to imprisonment.

So in 2008, the authority taught it wise to open the school to train the inmates to become important personalities in the society after serving their sentence. He continue that with the introduction of the school most inmates have gotten the opportunity to enter into tertiary school after passing their exams. He then said, with donations from organizations they have been able to run the school for about ten years now and they are looking forward to other people, cooperate organizations, churches and otherwise institutions to come to their aid with learning materials as the Nabco personnel have done. This event took place last Thursday 10th October,2019 at the Nsawam Medium Prisons.

The NABCO programs continued on Friday where they had float on the principal street of nsawam township from Adoagyiri roundabout to the Municipal Office to continue with intensive training for the trainees.
Saturday was also not left out, all the trainees immerge at the nsawam prisons park to partake in various inter training activities such aerobic, chair dance, ludu, draft, soccer, volley, etc and health screening for all kinds of diseases.
The program proceeded on Sunday where they had thanks giving service at the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church – Nsawam to seal the anniversary.
