The former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGHA), Bice Osei Kuffour aka Obour, has tickled himself as having done a perfect job while serving in the capacity as president of the union for eight years amid claims by some artistes like Shatta Wale, Criss Waddle, Jedu-Blay Ambolley and D-Black that he led a bad legacy behind.
These artistes have accused Obour of mismanagement and therefore called on Ghanaians not to vote for him in his Parliamentary bid.
The artistes who believe Obour is not ‘clean’ have started an intensive campaign against Obour’s decision to contest the Asante Akyem South parliamentary seat on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) on all social media paltforms.
According to them, until he accounts for his stewardship and how the finances of the union were managed, Ghanaians should not mind or vote for him.
In his reaction, Obour said anybody who sought to judge him on his presidency needed to remember the state MUSIGA was in before he took over as its president and what he had done to change the image of the union.
