Ohemaa Mercy was awarded alongside other renowned Ghanaian music artistes including Rev Josh Laryea, Jude Lomotey, Maame Justin, Gifty Osei, Mrs Diana Hopson with the top most award of the day going to Ohemaa Mercy and Rev Josh Laryea.
They, Ohemaa Mercy and Rev Josh Laryea, each received a certificate, a return trip ticket to the United Kingdom and a recording deal with music producer Zapp Mallet who will record four songs (each) for them.
Ohemaa Mercy’s certificate of celebration read: “Your lyrics and style though contemporary still retains its uniqueness. We appreciate your ministry and celebrate your progress. Your best is yet to come.”
