Harey Adjoa Yeboa-Asuama a.k.a Ohemaa Woyeje left Ghana’s number radio station Adom 106.3mhz which was heart breaking to her fans.
There were many issues surrounding her departure after many years with multimedia group of companies operators, Adom FM. Although rumors suggest the next company in line for her, yet she professionally managed the concerns with management to satisfaction till recent announcement of her exit.
Fans of Ohemaa Woyeje anticipated this circumstance to arise, hearts are broken but wishes were showered to brighten the future. The former host of Adom FM ”work and happiness” show which airs from 10am to noon weekdays said:
“I received a number of calls from radio station managers in Accra, but three out of them were highly competitive so I chose the one with the highest offer. Besides, I prefer to be part of a challenging team on a completely new platform because Angel FM is new.”
“I’m handling the mid-morning show which I have personally named Y’adwuma Nie, to start with but in my contract, I may add on one or two programmes when necessary. One can only listen to the show to get to know the new additions I’m bringing on board but it should be a surprise to my listeners,”
The award winning radio personality is expected to commerce work at her new station on the 30th of September this year. Ohemaa, who started her radio journey in 2003 has work with stations like Nkosuo Radio in Kumasi now Bohye 95.3FM and then move to Sky FM in Sunyani, and later returned to Kumasi to join Zuria 88.7FM before she joined Adom FM in Accra.
