Omah Lay, Tems arrive Nigeria from Uganda
Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems, who were earlier detained in Uganda for flouting COVID-19 protocols, have finally returned to Nigeria.
Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) disclosed that Tems and Omah Lay arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos at exactly 12:35pm.
A photo showing their arrival at the airport was posted online by the boss of NIDCON, Abike Dabiri-Erewa on her official Twitter page.
Abike Dabiri disclosed that and expressed her gratitude to the Ugandan government and the Ministry of foreign for putting their effort to ensure the issue which caught continental attention was resolved.
She wrote;
“Stanley Omah Didia (@Omah_Lay), Temilade Openiyi (@temsbaby), Muyiwa Ayoniyi and others just landed at the MMIA Lagos from Uganda via Ethiopia Airline at about 12:35 pm local time. We are glad they are finally home.”
