Opinions: Internet Bullies Keep Multiplying Daily



The internet has now officially recognized cyberbullying or cyberharassment to be a form of bullying or harassment via electronic means. Cyberbullying and cyberharassment are also known as online bullying. Per records available on wikipedia, internet bullying has become increasingly common, especially among teenagers, as the digital sphere has expanded and technology has advanced.

Depending on the specific jurisdiction one finds him or herself, internet bullying may differ in one way or the other. For instance, in Ghana, those who face such circumstances are normally celebrities and ordinary people who have a lot of followers on social media platforms. What I have realized, just like many others is that mean comments are used by anonymous folks to drum home whatever “nonsensical” thoughts they have in mind.
