Paternity scandal: Man claims he’s the real father of Gospel Singer, Tope Alabi’s daughter
A man identified as Mayegun Olaoye has claimed he is the biological father of popular gospel singer, Tope Alabi’sdaughter, Ayomikun.
Mr Mayegun Olaoye claimed Tope Alabi had blocked every avenue for him to see and get to know his biological daughter for the past 22 years.
He went ahead to say that the singer used to be his live-in lover from 1996 before she got pregnant in 1997. He added that the daughter was given birth to on the May 7th, 1998.
Olaoye said known Yoruba movie marketers and actors were in attendance at the child’s naming ceremony and they were together for a year after that before they got separated, putting the blame on the singer’s “misdeamenour” of changing their daughter’s surname.
In some WhatsApp chat screenshots, the Mayegun said:
“Getting in touch in respect of Tope Alabi. I’m the father of her first child.”
He began claiming the girl in 2018 on Instagram. He has shared multiple posts, claiming Ayomikun is his daughter and comparing her face to his to show the resemblance. He has also been tagging Tope Alabi to the posts.
According to reports, Soji Alabi has been married to popular Nigerian gospel singer, Tope Alabi for over two decades and has been taking care of Ayomikun as a daughter.
