The Member of Parliament for the good people of Bunkpurugu Constituency in the North East Region, Hon. Abed Bandim has been sighted praying for the sick in his constituency and also extending his support to them.
The newly elected first-term MP has been in his constituency during this time that Parliament is on recess. To him, it is an opportunity to continue his usual visitation in the constituency and also thank them for giving him the confidence to serve them as their representative.
In his Facebook post, the MP said he visited some young people who involved in accidents and sustained various degrees of injuries during the electioneering campaign in Tojing, a suburb of Bunkpurugu, and the other one in the District Capital.
After supporting them financially, he offered a prayer for them and encouraged them to be strengthened in the Lord as there is more hope as long as life runs through them.
He made the disclosure on Facebook on 7th April, 2021, where he wrote that: “With Parliament on recess, yesterday, I continued my community visitations in the Bunkpurugu Constituency. While on the tour, I took time to visit our brother in Tojing who had his leg amputated and another brother in Bunkpurugu with a fractured leg; all through accidents that occurred last year before the elections. Together with my constituency executives, some support was presented to them. We pray that our brothers recover quickly. We are stronger together as a people.
Today, I shall continue my tour to the B communities.”
