Photos: Ghana Jeep Club parties with children of Potter’s Orphanage Village

It was all smiles and merrymaking for the children of Potter’s Orphanage Village last weekend.

The children of the orphanage located in Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region, were treated to a pre-Easter bash when members of the Ghana Jeep Club visited them.

The club members, as part of their corporate social responsibilities, visited the orphanage bearing gifts. They donated items to the children and also socialised with them.

Renowned music producer and businessman, Edward Nana Poku Osei (Hammer), who speaks for the club, revealed that the Ghana Jeep Club is made up of over 40 individuals who own jeep(s) of all types.

According to him, the club, which has its slogan as “Don’t follow me, You won’t make it”, is not only about cars but also touching lives.

He said: “We did this for the kids, however, we didn’t really know how much they needed it until we got there. Even though we gave them a memorable experience, their situation is quite critical as we came to find out.”

“They need much more support than anticipated and so we’re appealing to the general public and individuals to come to the aid of The Potter’s orphanage village,” Hammer added.
