Police arrests stubborn Pastor again for calling the bluff of Akufo -Addo

Police in the Ashanti Region has rearrested the head pastor of Open Arms Ministries, Apostle Kofi Nkansah Sarkodie, for once again holding a church service despite the ban on religious activities because of the novel coronavirus pandemic by President Akufo Addo.



A day after the president’s ban, the pastor defied the his order and organised a powerful crusade at his church claiming the president didn’t consult him before taking the decision. The Ashanti Regional Police arrested him immediately with one of his elders and granted him bail on that same day.

Today again, the stubborn pastor has rubbished the ban on social gathering and gone ahead to hold his usual Sunday service. Perhaps to show his church members are immune to the coronavirus or to prove that nothing can stop him from serving God.
His actions have called for his arrest the second time by the same police in Kumasi.
