Press release: Obrafour pulled out of the “History in the Making Concert”
A press statement on the rapper’s Facebook timeline reads;
Contrary to reports making rounds that Obrafour pulled out of Sarkodie’s History in The Making concert because of money; Execution Entertainment will like to clarify that:
1. Obrafour agreed to play the show for FREE for Sarkodie’s sake.
2. Obrafour was billed to perform on another show ‘Festival Dance’ in New York and it’s that organizer that flew him to New York.
3. Organizers of Sarkodie’s HiTM ‘TM Entertainmentz’ had accepted to pay for Obrafour’s flight into New York to play the show for FREE but later refused to.
4. The decision to cancel the performance was taken by management after all efforts to get TM Entertainmentz to fulfil their part of the agreement proved futile.
Signed Khan Mohammed (Execution Entertainment).
Disappointingly, Joey B, Pappy Kojo, Efya, Ice Prince, Samini and others couldn’t make it due to reasons ranging from travel documents and schedules.
The show was hosted by Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo with music by DJ Mensah.
