PUBLIC URGED TO TAKE MEDICAL SCREENING SERIOUSLY

The Prestea Huni-Valley deputy NPP communication director, Mr Francis Johnfia Cudjoe has advised the general public particularly, people living in rural areas to go for periodic medical checkups to prevent them from avoidable deaths and other ailments.

The deputy communicator stressed that low level of healthy lifestyle decelerate socioeconomic progression thus, calling for regular medical attention for healthy environment.

According to him, increasing death tolls in the country is as a result of low patronage of medical checkups to fight contagious diseases in the system thus, urging the public to take on the habit of regular medical attention.

He was speaking to Kaakyire Kwasi Afari on Time FM news on just ended free screening exercise organized by the NPP MP, in collaboration with the Rebecca Health Outreach Programme, under the Rebecca Foundation with a team comprising medical doctors, laboratory technicians, physician assistants, dentists and nurses drawn from the University of Ghana Medical School.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Prestea Huni-valley constituency, Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi has organized a health screening exercise for over 700 people in her constituency.

Mr Johnfia Cudjoe said embarking on regular medial checkups will provide relief for improved health care needs to foster economic improvement.
