News reaching ghanashowbiz is that Queenmother of Asante Kingdom, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II has passed away. She died peacefully in her home at an age of 109. She reigned as Queenmother for 39 years.

The paramount chiefs within the Asante Kingdom are sheduled to meet in Manhyia to discuss the Funeral arrangements and final rites for the departed Royal member.
