Resume Work, Your One Month Leave Is Over! – NSS to Service Personnel

Armstrong Essah, the Public Relations Officer of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has said the Scheme will soon pay the month of April allowances to all personnel.

He reiterated that NSS will pay the April allowances in full without any reduction despite their leave. He further appealed to all National Service personnel who in line with a directive was asked to take a one-month mandatory leave with pay in March 2020 to resume work with immediate effect.

The PRO in an interview monitored by online portals said the service personnel’s one-month compulsory leave expired on the 30th of last month and so they are to resume work this week.

“They are going to be paid and if some of them have not received their April Allowances then, I’m sure from next week, they will receive their allowances. It was a paid leave and they’re going to have their allowances intact”, he added.
