REVEALED: Stingy Men Association (SMA) Charging 2K For ID Cards

A new social media trend across Africa is the emerging of a newly formed association called the Stingy Men Association.

Over the weekend, photos of the logo of the association were flooded on the internet. Our search finds that the association (SMA) has branches in many African countries with different slogans but a common purpose.

Their goal is to make sure members of the union do not pay anything money or material to women. The union strongly advocate against the exploitation of men by the female gender and apply sanctions to members who fail to comply.

Today, BBC pidgin shared photos of some ID cards of the Nigerian Branch of the union. The identity cards had some notable celebrities including the famous Don Jazzy as the head of Union.

The Nigerian Branch is ‘Stingy Men Association-Nigeria’ (SMAN) and the Ghana branch is SMAG. Our search revealed that members are paying 2k for the identity card to give them access to the union. Ghanashowbiz.com’s investigation revealed that people can make payments irrespective of the country they are in and get their ID cards made for them.

This has certainly confirmed that the association is something that goes beyond the social media fun people are having. It is really an attack launched on the other gender.
