SAD: SOMEONE’S CV DISCARDED.

One major difference between the employed and the unemployed graduate is social capital. Others call it link, network and connection. They all boil down to one thing: (who you know and whether the person too knows you).

The people who are privileged to be in positions of influence are always besieged with different kinds of pleas including job opportunities. Some would  tell you to send them your particulars via email or WhatsApp whiles others too would take a hard copy of your Curriculum vitae (CV).

The problem now is whether these people which includes relatives sometimes attach any seriousness to our requests.

A photo popped up on social media sighted by Ghanashowbiz.com shows a well written CV used to wrap a roasted plantain ( ‘Kofi Brokeman’) for sale.

This may be a CV someone painstakingly wrote in anticipation of being offered a job.
