Sarkodie And His Stinginess Tag Is Now Becoming Global — Here Is Why

Entertainment is gradually becoming the back born of the world’s technological enjoyment (that is if such a word even exists). Just like the rest of the world, Ghanaians are aggressively pursuing entertainment related stuff just to make their own enjoyment possible. Indeed, rap is quite pivotal when entertainment or musical stuff is mentioned.

Those who appreciate rap music will never be ungrateful to the likes of Reggie Rockstone, Obrafour, Lord Kenya, C-Zar, Omanhene Pozo, Tinny, Edem, Kwaw Kese and all the guys who sacrificed to make rap music an enviable genre for all Ghanaians. The issue now has to do with how the rap music is faring with the new crop of lyricists like YPee, Medikal, Strongman Burner, Kweku Flick, Amerado, Bongo Boy and the rest who have now had the chance to continue this blessed memory.

One person, who has stood out all this while as the dominant game changer for the rap genre is Michael Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie!

Whether you choose to believe it or not, the rate at which Sarkodie is taking this rap game as a competition is something extraordinary. It is just critical to notice that all King Sark deserves is applause.

Aside all these rap changing facets of Sarkodie’s legacy, one attribute which has become prevalent in the way Ghanaian netizens see Sarkodie is how he interacts with his fans and other stuff. From no where, Sarkodie was seriously tagged as “stingy”. Just like most people, I believed Sark got this name because he refused to make his donations publicly over a period of time. Also, it could be just a misconstrued happening which has lingered on all this while.

Is Sarkodie really envisaged as so because he hides his philanthropic gestures or he is naturally stingy? Well, his current visit to a fan without any cash is one of such indications why he’s labelled as stingy. From all indications, he might have given his fan something without making it public. Is this not possible?
