Sarkodie Is Still On Top!

Sarkodie known in real life as Michael Owusu Addo is a hip hop and hip life recording artist from the harbor city Tema. He has won the best Act: Africa category at the 2012 BET Awards, and was nominated in the same category at the 2014 BET Awards. Sarkodie has a unique rap style and is one of the leading hip life artiste in Ghana. Presently the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards he has been nominated in 15 different categories. He is most influential musician and is making waves in the Ghanian entertainment industry. His current songs are Adonai, Megye Wo Girl, Whi Fi Mi and many more.
He was born on July 10, 1988. He is the fourth of five children and raised in Tema by his mother Maame Aggrey a single parent. Sarkodie often raps in his native language twi and is considered a versatile rapper due to the various music styles he possess. His first album Rapperholic was the recipient of three awards from 12 nominations.
