Scholarship Secretariat to partner GFA to unearth talents
The President of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Kurt Okraku paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat, Hon. Kingsley Agyeman yesterday to discuss issues bothering on football and sponsorship.
According to Mr. Kinglsey Agyeman, he promised the GFA president of his office’s readiness to partner the GFA to help unearth talents and produce another set of football giants and legends like the Abedi Peles.
Mr. Kurt Okraku is the man who replaced the former president of GFA, Kwasi Nyantakyi, whose tenure had to end abruptly following an investigative expose carried out by ace investigative Journalist, the veteran Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
Mr. Kinglsey Agyeman made the post below after his meeting with the current GFA boss.
I played host to Kurt Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association, at my office today where we had extensive discussions on sponsorship for the football value chain.Matters discussed ranged from identifying talents, coaching, the physio of football, football journalism, business of football, showbiz of football, the science of football, general football administration, among others.I assured the GFA boss of the Scholarship Secretariat’s readiness to partner the GFA in many areas especially how to unearth football talents and sponsor them to become the next Abedi Peles, Asamoah Gyans, Richard Kingstons, Ohene Gyans, Alex Quarteys, Roger Millas and other great footballers.I again promised him that the Scholarship Secretariat’s doors are always opened for discussions on how best the GFA and Ghana Scholarships Secretariat can partner to help make football great once again in this country.
