Ghanaian rapper Pope Skinny has added his voice to the ongoing Menzgold brouhaha.
According to the Asuoden Music boss, customers of Menzgold have been duped and should not think of getting the monies they invested in the failing gold dealership firm back.
There were reports that the CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah has been arrested in Dubai for more than a month now.
A warrant for his arrest was issued by a circuit court on 9th January 2019 after he failed to pay back monies owed to investors in his gold dealership firm.
However, Pope Skinny is of the assertion that clients of Menzgold will never get their monies back even if NAM1 is arrested.
” AJUMA NO 3DI WO IF YOU ARE A MENZGOLD CUSTOMER. FORGET YOUR MONEY. ITZ FAR GONE.SORRY BUT THAT THE PAINFUL TRUTH” Pope Skinny on his Snapchat handle.

Menzgold promised clients monthly interest of 7% and 10% interest on gold collectibles deposited with the firm.
The failing gold dealership company was said to have attracted up to 60,000 depositors despite repeated warnings by the Bank of Ghana and the Securities and Exchange Commission not to do business with the company.
Although some aggrieved customers have embarked on demonstrations, they are still yet to receive back the monies they invested into Menzgold.
