Sean Kingston Faces Legal Battle For Alleged Attack On Woman

Just last year, Jamaican singer Sean Kingston was under the watchful eye of doctors as he battled to survive a near-fatal boating accident.  Now he will be battling to save his good name in a civil lawsuit that was served last Friday, accusing him of attacking a woman along with a gang of other men, reports RadarOnline.

The attack allegedly took place after a concert nearly two years ago, when Kingston opened for the tween heartthrob Justin Bieber.  The 22-year-old was served by a private investigator at LAX International Airport as he arrived to Los Angeles from Miami.

Last year during Memorial Day weekend, Kingston made headlines after a jet-ski accident left him in critical condition. The young R&B/pop/reggae/rap artist and a female companion crashed in to a small bridge that connects Miami’s Palm Island and MacArthur Causeway.  Kingston suffered a broken jaw, fractured wrist, and had water in his lungs.

The performer then almost died twice, when after being in the hospital for 11 days after his traumatic accident, a torn aorta in his heart was discovered that required a few open heart-surgeries.  Reportedly 90 percent of those who have a torn aorta are not expected to live.

Kingston, who shed over 45 pounds from his once 300-pound frame through exercise and healthy eating after the accident, told MTV News last year, “What the accident basically taught me is, in life, you have to count your blessings.”

Now the performer has to count his pennies because he might be up against quite a fight to defend his reputation against the attack allegations.
