Season 5 of Malta Guinness Street Dance launched
the fifth season of the Malta Guinness Street Dance (MGSD) has been launched in Accra with an international twist.
For the past five years, MGSD has fuelled the rise of Ghana's dance talents to an exciting extent.
This year, MGSD is catapulting the nation's number one dance crew to an international level that gives top street dancers the opportunity to “dance to the top of the world as they face crews from around the globe”.
As the search begins to find Ghana's next top dance crew, all budding street dancers are invited to a series of auditions across the country. Participants must be 18 years and above, must form a group with four or six members and must have a valid Ghanaian Passport. Participants will also need to bring on moves that can wow the world and showcase their very best in Ghanaian energy, goodness and vitality.
Commenting during the launch, Marketing Director at Guinness Ghana Breweries Agnes Essah said: “It has been five years since Ghana's iconic and vibrant malt drink brought to Ghanaians Malta Guinness Street Dance, and every year the standard of dance has risen phenomenally”.
This season will see the return of last year's celebrity judges KOD, Reggie and Bee.
Host Kwame Farkye will be with the crews every step of the way as they embark on this incredible journey.
