The directive of the government to ban social gathering, churches, mosques and other avenues from meeting because of the social distancing strategy to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic has really brought issues to town. The icing on the cake for some members to keep their monies from some stomach pastors now is the selective lockdown.
Unperturbed by the developments of hardships and sufferings from their unworking church members, some pastors have sent messages to their members to still pay collections and tithes in these trying times. The latest to join these heartless men of God who demand money from even unworking members is Bishop Daniel Obinim aka Angel Obinim of International God’s Way Church.
This was sighted on social media a few hours ago.
Watch the video below:
Some affluent persons like Honourable Kennedy Agyapong – MP for Assin Central and Kofi Adoma of Kofi TV have all questioned why some pastors are demanding for money from members at this time whilst Pastor Brian Amoateng uploaded a video to lambaste members of his church who suggested that the church should buy and distribute hand sanitizers to them.
