Selly talks about her movie career.
Ghanaian actress, Selly Galley says one of the major challenges she deals with in Ghana’s movie industry is mediocre movie producers.
Furthermore, according to her, they always lower standards and quality in filmmaking to save cost of production.
Moreover, she stated this as part of the reasons the movie industry struggles.
She made these statements in an interview with Glam Africa Magazine. They asked her about the challenges she encounters so far in her career and how she overcame them.

“Mediocrity. Some movie producers want you to lower your quality and standards, just to save them the cost of production. In the long run, my team and I insist that the right things are done for the benefit of the production and our brand.”
Also, Selly is a TV presenter with the Multimedia Group. She has distinguished herself one of Ghana’s public figure with styles.
She has featured in about 30 movies.
“Everything I do resonates with me – I leave a piece of me on every project I work on. Amongst the most remarkable are movies like ‘You May Kill The Bride’. This was Ghana’s first four cast romantic comedy which got me my very first best supporting role nomination at the Ghana Movie Awards.”
