SEX4GRADES: SUSPENSION OF PROF. RANSFORD GYAMPO AND DR. PAUL BUTAKOR.

Ghanashowbiz.Com has gathered authentically that Management of the University of Ghana, Legon has informed members of the University community and the general public that the Senior Members’ Disciplinary Committee has completed the hearing of the matter involving Professor Ransford Gyampo and Dr. Paul Butakor.

In line with statute 46 (2) of the University of Ghana Statutes, as amended, and regulation 15.0 of the Code of Conduct for Academic Staff of the University of Ghana, the Disciplinary Committee recommended a six-month suspension without pay for Professor Gyampo and a four-month suspension without pay for Dr. Butakor.

Readers could recall that the two senior lecturers were caught on camera trying to beg for sex from their supposed tertiary students in the BBC’s documentary on ‘Sex For Grades’ some months ago.

Will this move from the University serve as deterrence to other unscrupulous lecturers?
