“Shatta Wale is very Arrogant, and that has taken him where he is now” – Ola Michael

According to film maker and Entertainment critic, Michael Ola, the Arrogant lifestyle of Shatta Wale fetched him his fortune mainstream recognition.

Speaking on HitzFm’s DaybreakHitz, the film producer stated categorically that, “if Shatta hasn’t been arrogant, he wouldn’t have be successful as he is now.”.

His statement moreover has ignited a controversies on social media where the Shatta Movement seems not to share same thought with the Entertainment critic.

Some of the SM believes that, Shatta Wale after being on an exile for ten years came back to fight the cankers in the industry not necessarily being arrogant and he should be noted for such not otherwise.

Shatta Wale has been the burden of the media and other cooperate bodies associated to the Ghanaian music fraternity for the past eight years of his reign as the dancehall king in Africa.

Wale will not spare the rod whenever there is an inappropriate in the music fraternity, he will come on social media to register his displeasure, chewed out names and use all kind of vulgar words at the defaulters.

He was known as one who thrive on controversies to sell his brand and a section of the mass sees him to be arrogant.

He has been the centre of discussion ever since he reappeared at the Ghanaian music scene till now and that is the result of his supposed ” arrogant” lifestyle.

He is loved by the youth and the street. Arguably, he is the only artist with a large and loyal fanbase in Ghana.
