Even though acquiring information in this modern age isn’t all that difficult because of the existence of social media, it still requires some professional levels to do so more sanely. Journalists therefore hold the professional mandate to do so. But, in the course of their duties, many journalists have suffered (and still continue to suffer) because they stood for the truth, transparency and so forth.
According to a survey by iWatch Africa, the most abused and harassed journalist in Ghana is the former JoyNews investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni. Followed by the host of Net2 TV GH’s “The Seat”, Justice Kweku Annan.
