Sick Bay Melody Joins The Race

In an industry where dynamism, creativity and innovation play a critical role in the success of an artiste, it is no wonder that many Ghanaian musicians armed with these qualities are making strides in the local and international music scene.

The latest hip-life duos, Lucci M and Kobbe Black are certain to add their names to the current galaxy of hiplife stars in the country.

The title track of their yet-to-be-released maiden album, ‘ Ghanaian Girl ‘, which featured Yaw Siki, is currently enjoying massive airplay.

The ingenuity of the two talented youngsters started over a decade ago when they stunned music fans with their first demo track called ‘ Krekete Soya’, recorded at H-Royal Studio at Achimota in Accra.

The two, whose real names are Daniel Kwakye and Peniel Boateng, and are mainly into hiplife, blending it with R&B and hip-pop, said feverish preparations were underway to release their 12-track album under the management of PM labels Ghana.

The group, called Sick Bay Melody, has other tracks on their album including ‘ Karma 360’, ‘Bombastic’ , among others.

The duo assured music fans that they would have a lot to cheer about with their inspirational and danceable hip-life lyrics.
