Singers Omah lay and Tems set to face 7 years Imprisonment
Nigerian Singers Temilade Openiyi also known as Tems and Stanley Omah Didia better known as Omah lay are likely to face a 7-years jail sentence in Uganda prison for organising an unlawful concert.
According to Uganda law, any negligency that will lead to the spread of infectious diseases according to C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act will serve 7-year jail term.
The unauthorized concert was reportedly held in Ddungu Resort in Munyonyo, Kampala City.
The singers are currently under remand and will be arranged before the court on Wednesday 16 December 2020
The Nigerian trio of Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay, Temilade Openyi alias Tems and Muyiwa Awomiyi have been charged to court in Makindye on charges of Negligently doing acts likely to spread an infectious diseases C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act.
